I’m making my own tag game now folks. [profile] beware_the_ravenstag, [profile] oceanfinnick, [profile] jackrollins, [profile] transbucky, [profile] peppersandcats, I challenge you to pick your favorite villain and then tell me their favorite villain(s). Your fave and their fave(s) can’t be in the same universe!

My favorite villain (antagonist? annoyance?) is Loki (at least, currently)!

Loki’s favorite villains are Scar and Jareth the Goblin King.

(I can hear both songs perfectly in my mind when I look at each gif…)

Okay. Tumblr ate the first draft of this, so it’s a bit terse.

You’re getting “one of the first that comes to mind” and not “my favourite”. Best I can do.

Mr. Gordons (Warren Murphy and Richard Sapir, The Destroyer series)

Mr. Gordons is a shape-shifting android (not inspired by the T-1000, since he showed up 16 years before the latter) named after one of the creator’s regular tipples. His primary goal was survival. He understood that in order to improve his odds of survival, he needed creativity.

In his second appearance, he confirmed that humans keep their creativity in their brains and tried to get some.

Power tools were involved. It was kind of horrible.

(Then, of course, he went to Hollywood, which surely *must* be a wellspring of creativity. (It’s a Destroyer book. There’s snark.))

His  catchphrase greeting is “Hello is all right.” Because he asked someone what a good way to greet people was, and was not up on his aural punctuation.

Anyway! Mr. Gordons’ favourite villains, were he capable of appreciating fiction, would be:

Pennywise (Stephen King, IT)

Survived thousands of years! Not human! Another shapeshifter! Switches between dozens of shapes! Surely It must be creative, right? (It is not - like Gordons, It copies - but I place no money on Gordons noticing.)

Monster (David and Maria Lapham, Stray Bullets)

A reasonable human, who would not be put off by Mr. Gordons. Also he would not put Mr. Gordons off (except for that Beth thing), being generally sensible and straightforward.

(I waffled on including him, but if I am looking at it moderately dispassionately, there are very few people in Stray Bullets who are not villains and Monster sure as hell ain’t one of them.)

Jasper Stone (Shane Lacy Hensley, Deadlands)

Damned to be unkillable and doesn’t care, terrorizes the demonic force that animates him, and creative enough to be mean. What’s not to like?
