Ah, thank you! That was both a fun character study and one of the longer and more complex things I’ve written. I worked fairly hard to make Axel an unreliable narrator in that in several ways (breaking out of Iron Heights with some cleaning supplies and someone else’s shiv while being of the opinion that he’s “not good at making plans” is possibly a favourite) and I think I actually managed; I’m really pretty proud of that one.
(Also oh god Iron Heights is horrible.)
