So, since the last… the last, uhm, incident (Worldcon), which followed the preceding incident (TCAF), the time between the two being interspersed with other mini-incidents (I approached a bookstore with insufficient caution), I have actually managed to quash my book buying pretty well. I think I haven’t bought anything except pre-scheduled comics in a fortnight.
However.
I have, over the last year, backed a few Kickstarters. Possibly several Kickstarters. And pre-ordered books. And generally arrange to have printed things delivered to me upon their emergence into the world.
And this week, I swear everything is showing up at once.
