“…it’s not a rat?”
Okay, so. I have headcanons for pets (or pet-like animals) for several of the DC TV Flash rogues. Lisa has a sphinx cat. Hartley has his rats, obviously. Shawna, for reasons I cannot determine even though I feel utterly comfortable with the conclusion, has a mynah bird.
Roy thought he had a rat. It had a long skinny tail and a pointy nose and short fur, and it was unafraid enough of him to show up in his studio and it didn’t start eating his sandwich until he’d forgotten about it anyway.
He asked Hartley at one point what you’re supposed to feed rats, and Hartley–with the enthusiasm of Hartley when you indicate you want his advice on something he’s interested in–showed up with rather a lot of supplies.
This was when Ray found out that what he actually had was an opossum.
This didn’t faze him much, and he saw no reason to get rid of it. It doesn’t eat his paints.
