Thursday afternoon I was going to get on a flight to Boston for Readercon.
My flight was cancelled. I got on a bus instead.
My bus was not cancelled, but one hour out of town, my phone died. My phone died hard and could not be resurrected.
I spent the weekend in Boston, and the con was great. However, I spent the weekend without access to texts, pictures, phone, email, Twitter, or Tumblr, (barring a brief 15-minute interval on Saturday night, when I put my SIM card into a very kind friend’s phone) so if you said anything to me and I didn’t answer, I wasn’t ignoring you. I just didn’t get it.
(That said, I had a really nice time.)
