So, I’ve been seeing some grim commentary recently on the… centering of Ted Bundy in pop culture.

This is a link to something that is not that. It is a link to something that is the opposite of that, albeit fictional. It is angry. It is proactive. It sings like the edge of a copper feather and it growls like a 1967 Mercury Cougar. It is viciously just.

(It is also, barring a handful of uses of the expletive “fuck”, entirely SFW text. Dark, but not explicit. Loudly, angrily, pointedly not explicit.)

It is by Brooke Bolander, who writes many very good stories. (To give you an idea: one of her lighter works is called “The Tale of the Three Beautiful Raptor Sisters, and the Prince Who Was Made of Meat”. She does not always write lighter works.)
